πŸ’™ What the Role Involves

As a Home Care Support Worker, your role is to support people with daily living in a way that promotes independence and wellbeing. This includes:

  • Personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting and continence support – these are essential parts of the role and are always delivered with dignity and respect

  • Supporting with mobility, medication, and nutritional needs

  • Providing emotional support and meaningful companionship

  • Supporting individuals with learning disabilities, helping them live fulfilled lives and maintain routines, confidence, and independence

  • Helping maintain a safe and comfortable home environment

  • Keeping accurate records in line with care plans and SSSC expectations

πŸ’Ό What You’ll Receive

  • Weekly Pay: Β£12.60 per hour (weekday) and up to Β£14.25 per hour for weekend work, depending on experience

  • Flexible Work Pattern: Mornings, evenings and weekends available across 7 days

  • Paid Training and Induction: Full training is provided – no prior experience needed

  • A caring, compassionate approach and a genuine interest in supporting others

  • Willingness to carry out personal care as part of your day-to-day role

  • A respectful, person-centred attitude – especially when supporting people with diverse needs including learning disabilities

  • Good communication and active listening skills

  • A valid driving licence and access to a car – essential for community-based care

  • Experience is welcome but not essential – we’ll give you everything you need to get started with confidence
